PERKY is a fruit eating bat and an unaccomplished hunter. His echolocation sonar does not work very well. He is not able to determine the distance, speed, and direction of his prey. It seems as if his sonar is always out of whack. That’s why he became a fruit-eating bat. Perky likes to spend much of his time alone. For Halloween, while all the other bats celebrate by feeding from warm-blooded animals, Perky sits at home having a fruit salad. To get things done or to prove himself, sometimes he takes unnecessary chances. He is perceived as mean, but inside he is shy and has a warm heart. His biggest attribute is his perseverance, which helps him reach his goals.
